William Edward Roecker

William “Bill” Edward Roecker, 85 lifelong resident of Tinley Park passed away Feb. 10 , 2026 at his home in Tinley Park. Husband and best friend of Nancy (Haaksma) Roecker for 63 years. Father of William Franz Roecker, Carl (Cathy) Roecker, and Mary (James Oyler) Roecker, grandpa of Kyle and Kailey Roecker. Bill spent twenty years on the Tinley Park Volunteer Fire Dept. he was a 1962 Graduate of University of Illinois College of Pharmacy and served as a hospital pharmacist for his career at St. James, Ingalls and Palos Hospitals in the south suburbs, retiring in 2009. Lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Tinley Park. Visitation will be held on Thur., Feb. 19, 2026 from 1:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 3:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 17100 69th Ave., Tinley Park, IL 60477. Private Interment at Zion Lutheran church Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund or P.A.W.S.of Tinley Park.
