William Joseph Muhr

William J. “Bill” Muhr, Age 79 of Frankfort, IL passed away peacefully on Friday July 11, 2025, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. Bill was born on November 18, 1945, in Chicago, IL to the late William Anthony and Adeline (Pawlikowski).

He is survived by his wife Donna (Nee Burton) of 50 years. Loving father of Kevin (Jamie), Kristopher (Dena) and Kenneth (Sylina). Loving Papa to Tyler, Dean, Kyle, Ryan, Justin, Olivia, Kendyl and Kaden. He is also survived by his sister Janice (Ray Lancaster).

He graduated from Mendel Catholic High School and the University of Illinois (Chicago) with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He had pharmacies in Alsip, Beverly and Evergreen Park. He also worked at Osco for many years. Bill also enjoyed being part-owner of the family’s sandblasting business, The Master Blasters.

Bill enjoyed watching Jeopardy and telling his “Dad” jokes. He also enjoyed watching his various Chicago Sports teams.

Per William’s wishes, cremation will take place, and a private family service will be held.
