WILLIAM F. MAYER SR.

Age 79, passed away on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

William is survived by his loving family, wife, Joan L. Mayer (Buber), children, Sharon (John) Rogers, Jennifer (Chris Jennings) Mayer, William (Sarah) Mayer Jr, brother, Tom (Roberta) Mayer, grandchildren, Daniel Rogers, Holly Rogers and Dolores Rose “Lola” Mayer.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William P. & Margaret Mayer (Popovits), daughter, Joan M. Mayer and brother Ken Mayer.

William was an avid woodworker, gardener and loving sole caregiver to his wife Joan for many years.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Tuesday, December 21st 2021 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox, IL.
