William M. Brieschke Sr.

Age 89, of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, September 6th, 2026 at his home.

William is survived by his loving family, son, Bill (Pamela) Brieschke Jr., grandchildren, Aaron Brieschke, Ashley Brieschke, Christopher (Angalina) Brieschke, Bradley Brieschke and great grandchild Athena Brieschke.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Bridget Brieschke (Ryan), wife, Lucille “Cookie” Brieschke (Kmiec) and 12 siblings.

"William never missed his daily rounds through the community, making sure everyone got a wave, a hello, or a friendly conversation. He also never passed up a scratch-off lottery ticket-because, as far as he was concerned, the big winner was always just one scratch away. The community won't be the same without his familiar face, his daily greetings, and that unmistakable sound of another lottery ticket being scratched."

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 from 11:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment, Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park IL
