William B. Hank

William B. Hank, 98 years young was born in Chicago Heights, IL to the late William and Margaret Hank and passed away May 31, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Pettigrew) Hank; loving father of Wayne Hank, Linda (the late Larry) Larrance, Barbara (the late Dan) Filibeck, Diane (Rick) Bishop, and Jayne (Ken) Murdoch; proud grandfather of Angela (Rod) Britton, Amy (Rick) Lowe, Alicia (Paul) Rose, Rhonda Larrance, Larry (Richele) Larrance Jr., Don (Betty) Filibeck, Danyle Tutone, Jennifer (Ricky) Ovadenko, the late Benjamin Bishop, Carolyn Murdoch, and Patty (Robby Chesak) Murdoch; dear great grandfather of many. Preceded in death by all of his siblings, Richard (Lou), Norman, Audrey, Wesley (Bob), and Geraldine (Jerry). William was a 65+ year resident of Matteson Illinois. He was also a proud Marine who served in World War II. William also loved music and could be found playing the trumpet. He loved spending time at Bass Lake, Indiana relaxing with family and friends. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E Francis St New Lenox, IL on Saturday June 10th from 10am until the time of service at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery Matteson, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in William’s name to The Semper Fi America’s Fund at https://thefund.org/donate/
