Virginia R. "Jenny" Krokidas (nee Smith)
Age 87, of Mokena, formerly of Palos Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Jenny was born in Chicago, IL to the late Patrick and Kathryn Smith. Beloved wife of the late Perry M. Krokidas Sr; loving mother of Perry Jr. (Lisa McClowry-Krokidas) and Lynne (Michael) Serrato; cherished grandmother of Lesley Serrato-Murphy and Mitchell Serrato; proud great-grandmother of Hank Murphy; dear sister of the late, Marion Valenteyus, Lillian Smith, Theresa Krueger, Sister Kathleen Smith and Joseph P Smith; loved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Jenny was employed by Park Manor Coffee Co. and Pamasco Service Center in Riverdale, IL for 40 years, retiring in 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jenny's name to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 10:00am until time of Memorial Service at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
