Age 69, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, September 28th, 2023 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Virginia is survived by her loving family, husband, Richard Rappold, children, Joseph (Lauren) Rappold, Kristina (Jonathan) Berg, Marissa (Zachary) Dombkowski, siblings, Frank (Jennifer) Trejo, Arthur (Joyce) Trejo, Eva (Anthony) Piegari, grandchildren, Henry Rappold, Johnny Rappold, Margot Rappold, Evan Berg, Archer Berg, Serena Berg, Cecelia Dombkowski and William Dombkowski.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Eva Trejo (Meza).

Virginia was a very active member of St. Barbara’s High School Alumni Club and 20 year member of the Girl Scouts where she served as a troop leader. She was also a Certified Nursing Assistant who provided care to many elderly people in the Lincon Way area for many years.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private at a later date at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park IL.
