Vincent Ranieri, age 93, a resident of Mokena formerly of Olympia Fields, Chicago Heights and South Chicago Heights, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 6, 2022, with his family by his side. Loving husband of Olga (Varallo) Ranieri; beloved father of Art Ranieri, Sheryl (Joe) Feminis and Camille (Greg) Shiple; dearest brother of Nora (late Robert) Mirkov; cherished grandfather of Matthew (Laura) Feminis, Anthony (Jennifer) Feminis, Christopher (Alyson) Feminis and Scott (Kayla) Shiple; special grandpa of Zachary (Desi) Roszak, Gianna Feminis, Francesca Feminis and Sophia Feminis; proud great grandfather of Addison Feminis, Maria Feminis, Vincent Feminis, Aubrie Feminis, Katherine Feminis and Jonathan Jay Feminis; fond uncle of Robert Mirkov, Vincent Mirkov, Mary Rose Suess and Rose Marie Kraker. Vincent was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a claims supervisor for State Farm Insurance Company and worked as a Postman in Chicago Heights. He was a past president for the Sons of Italy in Chicago Heights. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow to Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood.
