Victoria G. Lambrecht

Victoria Gerodimos Lambrecht 86, died on October 22, 2013 in Hilton Head SC. from complications of a stroke. Vicki was born in Detroit, MI on October 27, 1926 to John and Bertha Gerodimos. She and her family moved to Chicago when she was 3 where she grew up and graduated from Hyde Park High School. She attended Barat College and received an honorary degree in 2000.

On March 2, 1947 she married the love of her life Paul Lambrecht and moved to Frankfort, Illinois. She and Paul had two children Nancy and Tom. Vicki was devoted to her family first and foremost. She had a special connection to all of her grandchildren. She was a beautiful lady inside and out.

She pursued many interests while she raised her family. Besides being an accomplished artist she enjoyed fashion, modeling , cooking and entertaining. She brought a creativity and thoroughness to all her endeavors.
In 1985 Vicki and Paul moved to Naples Florida and then to Hilton Head, SC in 2008. She and Paul spent their summers in Manitowish Waters WI for 40 years. She had a special place in her heart for the "Northwoods where her ashes will be spread next summer.

She is survived by her husband Paul of 66 years, her daughter Nancy Lambrecht Clay (Stephen)of Hilton Head SC. Her Grandchildren Lindsey Clay Schulz (Travis) of Greenville, SC Alexander Clay(Kelly)of Greenville SC, Melissa Lambrecht of Chicago, IL Jack Lambrecht and Matt Lambrecht both of Stuart FL. Her daughter–in-law Patti Lambrecht also resides in Stuart FL . Surviving also are her two sisters Marge Gardiner of Orland Park, IL and Patricia Pyles (Don) of Homewood, IL.
In addition she has 4 great grandchildren Ally Schulz 5, Chase Schulz 4, Sydney Clay 2 and Baron Clay 3 months.
She was also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Bertha Gerodimos, her son Thomas Lambrecht and her brother James Gerodimos.

A memorial service to celebrate Vicki's life will be held on November 9, 2013 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in Frankfort, IL. www.kurtzmemorialchapel.com
