Vernon L. Sellars

Vernon L. Sellars age 81, of Joliet, IL. and formerly of Centralia, IL. was born December 20, 1942 and passed away January 31, 2024. Survivors include his beautiful wife Delores Sellars of 60 years; a son Vernon (Roxanne) Sellars, and one grandson Michael Sellars, one brother Chuck Blackman and 3 sisters, Sherie Copple, Dottie Matthews, and Mary Litteker, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 2 sons Michael Sellars and David Sellars, also his step father Charles Blackman, mother Dorothy Blackman, 2 sisters Brenda Sanders, and Gayla Snell.  A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Monday Februrary 5, 2024 from 10am until time of service at 12pm. Interment to follow at Elmhurst Cemetery Joliet, IL.
