Verna Marie Kowal, age 73, a resident of Matteson formerly of Glendale Heights and Wheaton, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Franciscan Health Center in Olympia Fields. Loving wife of Thomas Kowal; beloved mother of Thomas Kowal and Ariecka (fiancée Thomas Wayne Miller) Kowal; dearest sister of Ochal Caudill, Jr. Donna (late Edward) Tomassone and Sandra Godinez; cherished grandmother of Mary Rebekah Dorantes; proud great grandmother of Sylvester Henry and Brielle Rose.
