VALERIE R. DOUBRAWA  O.F.S.

Age 80, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, February 26^th, 2024 at her home in Frankfort.                   

Valerie is survived by her loving family, nieces and nephews, Larry (Sabryna) Eckhardt, Robert Doubrawa, Taisha Doubrawa, Elizabeth Doubrawa, Yulian (fiancée John Hood) Doubrawa, August (Rachel) Doubrawa, five great nieces and nephews and sister in-law, Joann Doubrawa.   

Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, Russell & Elizabeth “Betty” Doubrawa and sibling Robert Doubrawa.

Valerie was a very active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort and a Third Order Franciscan.  She retired from Hubbard High School in Chicago as a Principal.  Valerie was known as an accomplished equestrian, lover of animals, family, friends and faith.        

Family will receive friends at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, March 4th, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM.  Interment, St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Mokena IL.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Anthony Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated.
