Timothy "Tim" Joseph O'Sullivan

Timothy Joseph O’Sullivan “Tim” was born on October 4, 1947 to the late Timothy and Antoinette O’Sullivan. He departed this life on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Caring husband to Carla O’Sullivan (Capadona) and stepfather to Andrew Rizzuto and the late Paul Rizzuto.

Dearest father to his children with Penny Maragia (Schilling): Timothy (Kristine) O’Sullivan, Sheri (Chris) Gad, and James (Priscilla) O’Sullivan.

Devoted grandfather to Ashley Zagorski (O’Sullivan), Jacob Pearson, Timothy O’Sullivan, Michael O'Sullivan, Jordan Pearson, Emily Gad, Kailee O’Sullivan, Grace Gad, Rylan O’Sullivan, and Samantha Gad. Great grandfather to MJ Zagorski and Addison Zagorksi.

Loving brother to Maureen Head (Tom Milan), the late Joseph Jackson, Rose Kurtz, Jeffrey Kurtz, Arden (Dave) Tatum, and Debi Neal.

Proud uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Beloved nephew, cousin, and friend to many.

Tim will be remembered as an amazing golfer and was the most patient teacher of the game. One of the highlights from his golfing career was his hole in one on the 16th hole at Bon Vivant Golf Course.  He proudly attended Mount Carmel High School and was honored to be a veteran of the United States Air Force.  Tim was a proud former business owner of furniture and appliance stores, as well as being a hardworking and dedicated salesman and manufacturers rep. He loved homemade pasta salad, gnocchi, McDonalds McRib sandwiches, and he loved sweets especially oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. He was very proud of both his Italian and Irish heritage. Tim was a devoted Catholic and lived his life in faith. He had a heart of gold who would drop what he was doing to help anyone that needed him. Tim loved his family with all his heart. He had a special love for his children and grandchildren that will remain with them forever.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Tim's name to Mount Carmel High School 6410 S. Dante Ave. Chicago, IL 60637

A memorial mass will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 7pm at St. Mary Catholic Church 19515 S. 115th Ave. Mokena, IL 60448 with an inurnment the following day Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10am at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery 11046 St. Mary Rd.
