Timothy L. Terrell

Age 71, of New Lenox, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. Tim was born in Alameda, CA to the late Macon and Elizabeth (nee O’Connell) Terrell. Beloved husband of Jan (nee Vinson) Terrell; loving father of Nick Terrell and Alex (Tippy) Terrell; dear brother of the late Jay Terrell; good friend of many. Tim was an Administrator with Thornton Fractional District 215 serving at Thornton Fractional North High School and most recently as Principal at Thornton Fractional Center of Science and Technology, retiring in 2009. He was the current Commander at the VFW New Lenox Post 9545. Tim enjoyed golfing and fishing, and absolutely loved to hunt morel mushrooms. Tim was a fun-loving guy and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held at the New Lenox VFW. Date and time pending.
