Thomas William Ellickson

Thomas W. Ellickson, age 69, a resident of New Lenox formerly of Alsip and Leesburg, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. Loving husband of Kathleen Ellickson (Newton); beloved father of Tom (Kris) Ellickson and Steve (Niki) Ellickson; dearest son of the late William and late Dorothy (Luetke) Ellickson; dear brother of Beverly (Jim Kaemerer) Bishop and the late Mark (Terri) Ellickson; cherished grandfather of Lexi, Kaitlyn, Kelsi and Jake; fond uncle to several nieces and nephews. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea where he received the national Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the VFW in New Lenox and the NRA. Thomas owned Ellickson's and Sons and also was the owner of South Western Machine and Tool in Georgia. A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a memorial service in the chapel at 8:00 PM.
