He graduated in 1959 with a degree in Business. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and started his career with Texaco Inc., in Memphis TN as a Marketing Trainee. Throughout his 38 years of service, he was transferred seven times to a higher management position and retired in 1996 in Dallas TX. Thomas was a registered High School football official in three states and a member of Butler’s Touchdown Club.
