Thomas John Abbott

Thomas John Abbott, age 72, a resident of Frankfort formerly longtime of Chicago, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Loving husband of the late Susan Abbott (Daly); beloved father of Jennifer (Kenneth Bell) Abbott, Anne (William Kolinski) Abbott and Thomas Abbott; dearest brother of Elizabeth (Mike) Starr; cherished grandfather of Olivia Bell, Teagan Bell, Adeline Bell, Benjamin Kolinski and Andrew Kolinski. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas was the owner of Abbotts Tax Services and was active with the VFW. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a funeral service in the chapel at 7:00 PM. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Heart Association or the Leukemia Research Foundation would be appreciated.
