Thomas J. Beckstrom

Age 67 of New Lenox, IL formerly of Country Club Hills, IL passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Heartis of Orland Park, IL surrounded by family. Tom was born in Chicago to the late Howard J. and Margaret E. (nee McNamara) Beckstrom. Beloved husband of Janice (nee Piecuch) Beckstrom; loving father of Angela (John) Groenewold and Jon (Alicia) Beckstrom; “grandpaw” of his grand dog Lola; dear brother of Mary Jo (Chris) Gowing, the late Jack (Pam) Beckstrom, Ann (Tom) Finigan, and Rob (Pattee) Beckstrom; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Tom was a Maintenance Engineer for BorgWarner for almost 40 years, retiring in 2016. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and attending car shows. One of his favorite vacation spots was Hawaii. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 2:00pm until the time of Funeral Service at 7:30pm. Interment will be private.
