Thomas Anthony Samulski

Thomas A. Samulski, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Salem Village in Joliet.
Tom is survived by his loving children, Thomas J. (Rhonda) Samulski and Kathleen (David) Szymanek; cherished grandchildren, Jacob and Ryan Samulski; Zachary, Alecia, and Luke Szymanek; and his beloved dog Muffin.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Samulski (nee Rodgers) along with his parents, siblings, and lifelong friends Johnny, Bill and Earl.

Tom always found time to relax. He will be remembered for his love of old time Chevy’s and race cars. And we won’t forget how he enjoyed fishing, boating and tinkering at the lake house in Michigan when he left his DIY projects back home. His servant soul and work ethic will be missed.

Services for Tom will begin with a visitation on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 3pm-8pm at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road in New Lenox. Services will continue the following day at 9 am with chapel prayers at the funeral home followed by a Mass at Saint Jude’s Catholic Church in New Lenox at 9:30am. Tom will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Joan at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Orland Park.
