Terri Lynn Burkel

Terri Lynn Burkel (nee Spacek) 56, of New Lenox was born in Chicago to the late Gregory and Jacqueline Spacek and passed away December 3, 2025. Beloved wife of Alan Burkel. Loving mother of Cooper Burkel, and Justin Bulthuis. Terri was a dedicated Registered Nurse spanning her entire career helping others, until her retirement in August of 2024. Terri loved volunteering at the New Lenox Township Food Pantry, again just to help others in need. Terri was devoted to her faith and friends she made within the Church. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Friday December 19, 2025 from 4-7pm.
