Susan Marie Hheda

Susan Marie Heda, 71, of Frankfort, Illinois, passed away suddenly on June 5, 2026. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Jeffery Lee Heda. Dear sister of Carolyn Smith; Sister-in-law of late John (Jan) Sullivan, late Theodore (late Susan), late Kenneth (Lisa) Heda; Cousin and Aunt of many. Susan will be dearly missed. Born to the late Edward and Emma Smith in Chicago, Susan grew up near Midway airport and graduated high school in the city. She worked her entire career as a legal secretary in Oakbrook and downtown Chicago. Susan met Jeff and it was love at first sight. They married in 1979 and lived in the Palos area before moving to a home in Frankfort where they have lived for the last 30 years. Susan was a sweet and faith-filled woman who was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Matteson.
