Age 92, passed away on Friday June 12, 2026, at his daughter Kathy’s home in Peotone. Stanley was born in Chicago, IL to his late parents Anton and Josephine Kuchta.
Stanley had the biggest heart as a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and Marine. He fought to the end, always ready to protect anyone, at any time.
Known in the old neighborhood as Cookie, the best day in Stan’s life was the day an opposing player stepped on his face in a football game. That was the day he met Rosalie, who had to come over to see Cookie’s face, and make sure he was okay. He went from seeing stars, to dancing hearts, and so it began.
Stanley is survived by his loving children: Kathy Verble, Karen (Don) Fishman, Kurt (Jennine) Kuchta, grandchildren: Christina, Stephanie (Mike), Emma, Trevor, Matt, Violet, Kevin, great grandchildren: Benjamin, Tyler, Mikey, Dominik, Leo.
Stanley was preceded in death by the love of his life, our angel Rosalie Kuchta, siblings: Edward (Delores) Kuchta, Evelyn (Walter) Ignash.
