Sharon G. Hunt (neeKilburg) 71, of Frankfort was born in Shreveport LA, to the late William and Helen Kilburg and passed away September 1, 2023. Beloved wife of the late James T. Hunt; loving mother and “merm” of the late Kristie Lynn McKinney and James Brian (Erin) Hunt; proud grandmother of Steven McKinney, Thomas McKinney, Justin McKinney, Katelyn McKinney, Caleb Hunt, and Logan Hunt; dear sister of Walter (the late Irene) Kilburg, Kevin (Judy) Kilburg, and Robin (Bill) Bitterman; loving cousin and best friend to Freida (the late Clyde Dale) Stephens; Sharon was also preceded in death by her best friend and longtime companion Alice Yelaska; fond aunt of many. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Sharons name to research diabetes and breast cancer at www.diabetes.org or www.komen.org . A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way on September 8, 2023 from 4-8pm.
