Sara M Uthe-Strache

Sara Uthe-Strache 55, of New Lenox was born in Joliet, IL to Raymond and Norma (nee Witte) Uthe and passed away August 5, 2023. Beloved wife of Scott Strache. Loving mother of Brett, Chad, Erin and Grace Strache; dear sister of Dale (Carrie Dykstra) Uthe, and beloved aunt of Scott, Andrew, and Mathew Uthe. Sara graduated from Illinois State in 1990 and started working seven years for Chicago High School for Agriculture Sciences (CHSAS), before working another four years at Lincoln Way High School as the Agriculture teacher. Sara made her home for the next twenty two years at Minooka Community High School. Sara was a lifelong FFA attendant and leader, with a passion for agriculture and floral design. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sara's name to Minooka Community High School FFA.  A visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church 508 N Cedar Rd New Lenox, IL on Tuesday August 8th from 9:00am until time of service at 11am. Interment will follow funeral luncheon at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Tinley Park, IL 2:30pm.
