Sara A. Zulfer (nee Neyers)

Age 58, of New Lenox, formerly of Oak Lawn, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at her home. Sara was born in Chicago, IL to the late Leonard and Evelyn (nee Renspie) Neyers. Beloved wife of Charlie Zulfer; loving mother of Sylvia (Dave) Zulfer-Aultman and Josh (Sarah) Zulfer; cherished grandmother of Zac (Jen Nichols) Ruckle, Brandon Ruckle, Christian Thompson, and Aden Aultman; proud great grandmother of Maddox Ruckle and Lola Rae Ruckle; dear sister of Walter (Darlene) Neyers, Jerry (Patti) Neyers, and Dolores (Vince) Fanello; loved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Sara was a Respiratory Therapist at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL for 15 years. She was a natural caregiver, taking care of family members as they got advanced in age and needed care. Sara will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm  on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Joshua's ranch 25111 S. 88th Ave. Frankfort, IL 60423,  Per Sara’s request, everyone should wear bright colors and celebrate. Do not wear black and no crying.
