Peacefully passed away at her home in Smith Crossing on Monday, December 6, 2021. She was born on May 4, 1943, to Fred and Magdelene (Shild) Reggentine. Beloved wife of James Robert Gerdy for 54 years Loving mother of James Joseph Gerdy. Cherished grandma of Becky and Jakob Gerdy. Dear sister of the late Ruth Gullickson, late Linda Causey and Doris Urban. Great friend to many. Sandra was an avid gardener and reader, loved knitting, needlepoint, and creating hooked rugs. A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Parkinson Disease Association would be appreciated.
