Sandra M. Anifer

Age 85, of Richton Park, passed away Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at University of Chicago Hospital.

Sandra is survived by her loving family, Troy (Andrew) Atwood, Andrew (Carrie Roteck) Anifer, Ken (Samantha Alexander) Anifer, siblings, Sylvia Atzeni, Eloise Schultz, grandchildren, Katharine Atwood, Matthew Atwood, Michael Atwood, Anthony Sanchez, Phillip Anifer, Casey Anifer, Macie Anifer, Nykko Alexander, Shawn Alexander, Jesse Alexander and four great grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip & Eloisa Monroy (Arriaga), husband, Anthony “Tony” Anifer and four late siblings.

Sandra was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, being outside gardening and living a very active lifestyle.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, August 7th, 2026 from 3:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lupis Foundation of America would be greatly appreciated.
