Ruth E. Sorgenfrei

Age 95, of Tinley Park, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side.

Ruth is survived by her loving children, Susan Hicks, Harold (Mary) Hewitt, Linda (Cliff) Harder, Teina (Leonard) Zwolinski, Nancy (Terrance) Thomas, Daughter-in-Law Barbara Hewitt, 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren

Ruth was proceeded in death by her parents Walter and Angeline Hansen, husband Frederick Sorgenfrei, children Dean Hewitt, Walter Hewitt, Son-in-Law Donald Hicks, longtime companion John Cozza

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday September 20, 2025, from 11AM to 1:30PM. A prayer service will follow the visitation at 1:30PM.
