Russell E. Conradi

Russell Conradi, age 46, of Joliet, Illinois; passed away on August 13, 2026. He was born on September 2, 1979 in Naperville, Illinois; to Ross Conradi and LaDonna Walker (nee Sandberg). Russell grew up in Joliet, went to school in Joliet District 86 schools, graduated from Joliet Central, and attended St. Peter Lutheran Church Joliet. After high school, he lived in Arizona, California, and Utah for periods of time before returning to Illinois to live, both in Champaign-Urbana and Joliet. He worked all kinds of jobs, from retail to food service. He enjoyed collecting sports cards, watching documentaries, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his parents, sisters Nicole (Nikki) Switzer (Virgil), Amber Walker, Alexandria (Alex) Walker, Natalie Walker; brothers Richard Conradi, Jonathan Conradi, Christopher Conradi, Joshua Conradi, and Andrew Gallentine; grandparents Ed and Sandy Conradi, grandma Carol Reed; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by uncles Russell Darold Sandberg Jr, Scott Walker, and Ed Walker; grandparents Russell Darold Sandberg Sr and Mary Virginia (Ginny) Sandberg (nee Wilkerson), grandma Doris Henken (nee Fruend), and younger brother Brandon Walker.

A service to celebrate Russell's life will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, August 20, 2026; with visitation from 11am to 1pm, and service at 1pm. Interment will be private.
