Ronald J Englert

Ronald J. Englert, age 75, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife Marcia (nee Hammond) Englert; children, Craig (Amie) Englert, and Mandy (Jim) Holuj; grandchildren, Andrew Englert, Abigail Englert, Anna Englert, Ava Englert, Luke Holuj, Emma Holuj, Lucy Holuj, and Adam Holuj; siblings, Edward L. (Kathleen) Englert, and Phillip (Debra) Englert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. and Dolores Englert.

Ronald loved his faith, anything his grandkids did, and anything from the 50s and 60s, especially the 57 chevy. He worked for Farmers Insurance 40+ years. He was an honest and loving man, who cared for his family over all else. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Services for Ronald will begin on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 with a visitation from 4pm-8pm at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL. Services will continue the following day with a brief visitation at the funeral home from 9am-9:30am, with a Funeral Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox at 10am. Ronald will be laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery in New Lenox.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or the St. Jude Catholic Church Building Fund in Ronald’s name would be appreciated.
