Age 83, of Frankfort formerly of Riverdale, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019. Loving husband of Violet (Liptak) Yehnert; beloved father of Cynthia (late Michael) Kurucar, Cheryl (James) Ber and Robert (Candi) Yehnert, Jr.; dearest brother of late Wallace (Geri) Yehnert and Richard (Jan) Yehnert; cherished grandfather of the late Jamie Kurucar, Diane (Jesse) Tyler, James (Pam) Ber Jr., Nicole Kurucar, Joshua Yehnert, Elizabeth Ber and David (Gabrielle) Ber; proud great grandfather of Elizabeth Ber, Bradley Tyler, and Logan Tyler; dear step great grandfather of Matthew Wisniewski and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He retired from ACME Steel in Riverdale and was a member of SOAR. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday July 15, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Church, 12 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM lying in state from 10-11 AM. Interment, will be private.
