Age 58 of New Lenox passed away August 9, 2023, at home, after a courageous, yearlong battle with Glioblastoma. Bob was born in East Hazel Crest, IL to the late William and Kathleen (nee Grzan) Anderson. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Slomski) Anderson; loving father of Alyssa Anderson and stepfather of John Singleton Jr.; dear brother of Kathleen (Richard) Fitzpatrick; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Bob was a Construction Mechanic for Kim Construction. Bob was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved riding his Harley and tinkering with old cars. Bob was a friend to all; he never met a person he disliked. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Thursday, August 31, 2023, for a visitation from 1pm – 8pm. Interment will be private.
