Robert E. Winter Sr.

Age 75 of New Lenox, formerly of Frankfort, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 19, 2023. Bob was born in Chicago, IL to the late Robert and Marie (nee Iverson) Winter. Beloved husband of Norma Jane (nee Welborn) Winter; loving father of Robert E. Winter Jr, Constance (Randy) Schram, and Dawn (Ken) Kirkland; cherished Papa of Stephanie, Courtney, Kenny Robert, Garrett, Jessica, and Jacob; proud great grandfather of Dakhari, Jaiyden, Maiyson, and Kaiyden. Bob was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Frankfort, IL and a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, South Holland, IL. He was an electrician for Panduit for 29 years, retiring in 2014. Bob was a diehard Packers fan and a New York Yankees fan. He was also a member of the Lionel Train Club. Bob will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 177 Luther Lane, Frankfort, IL on Sunday, June 25, 2023, from 3:00pm until the time of Funeral Service at 5:00pm. Private interment will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens South on Monday, June 26, 2023. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Michael J Fox Parkinson Foundation or LightWays Hospice of Joliet.
