Robert E. Paridee
81, of New Lenox, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Palos Community Hospital. Born in Detroit, MI to the late Raymond and Doris (nee Donovan) Paridee, living in New Lenox for over 40 years. Survived by his loving daughters, Cheryl S. (Dion) Scaglione and Pamela (fiancé Vito Vitek) Paridee; and his former wife and friend Julie A. Barnhart. Robert was retired from Silver Cross Hospital. He was a U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, a Korean War Veteran, 6-time Commander of New Lenox American Legion Post 1977, and Co-Founder of the Tri-City Golf Outing to benefit the Manteno Veteran's Home. Robert was a talented athlete who enjoyed playing and excelled at many sports in his lifetime. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wounded Warriors would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 4-8PM. Funeral Service Monday, September 17 at 9:30AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
