Passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025.

Loving father of Lynn Anderson, Rebecca, Katherine (Jack) Cuthbert, Gregory and Jennifer Lundstrom. Beloved grandfather of Brandon Anderson.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife Susan Ciastko, father, Alexander Ciastko, mother, Lucille Ciastko and son in-law, Cliff Sales.

Robert had a love for taking Hollywood Casino’s money every Monday. He enjoyed spending time with his lady friends at St. Mary’s Senior Club. He loved fishing, country music, Notre Dame football and woodworking. Most of all he was the family jokester. Always making someone laugh and the sweetest man you’ll ever meet.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, July 17th, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Friday, July 18th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena IL 60448. Interment, Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
