Age 73 of South Holland, passed away at his home after a long illness, on Sunday, August 13, 2023. Rich was born in Chicago, IL to the late John and Ruth (nee Chapman) Thill. Beloved husband of Suzie (nee Rykiel) Thill; loving father of Jeffrey Thill and Adam Thill; dear brother of Charles (Linda) Farwell and Knight (Nancy) Farwell; cherished brother-in-law of Matt (Bonnie) Rykiel, Marty (Carol) Rykiel, and Steve (Annie) Sallay; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Rich was a self-employed carpet installer for over 40 years. He was a diehard Chicago Blackhawks fan. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 11:00am – 5:00pm.
