Raymond R. Panfil II,
55, of Tinley Park passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Ray was born in Chicago to Dolores (nee Konieczki) and the late Raymond R. Panfil. Beloved husband of Gabrielle (nee Pascale); loving father of Taylor (Andrew) Richards; dear brother of MaryEllen (Donald) Graff; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Ray was a member of Carpenters Local 13 and was employed by Turner Construction. In his spare time, he enjoyed the beach with the company of his friends and family, often with a cold Schlitz in hand. His laughter was contagious, his humor boundless, always able to bring people together through his good nature. An avid Chicago Bears fan, Ray endured their mishaps with his typical patience, optimism, and a slew of well-timed jokes. He is deeply loved, and he will be missed.
The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 3:00pm until time of prayers at 8:00pm. Interment will be private.
