96, of Mokena, passed away Friday, May 29,2020 at Illinois Veteran’s Home, Manteno, IL. Ray was born in Chicago to the late George and Anna (nee Binkert) Dykema. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline (nee Sayre) Dykema; loving father of Jacqueline (Jim) Olsen, Raymond (Sharon) Dykema, Gary (Carol) Dykema, Pamela (Donald) Ray, and Michael (Renee) Dykema; cherished grandfather of Elisa, Tim, Jill, Troy, Ryan, Matthew, Lindsey, Jessica, Michelle, Chris, Brett, and Brooke; dear brother of the late George (late Virginia) Dykema, the late Robert (late Mary) Dykema, and the late Marion Dykema. Ray was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He worked at the Ford Motor Co Chicago Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights for 38 years retiring in 1986. A private Celebration of Ray’s Life will be held by the family, with inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
