Rande was a lifelong resident of New Lenox. In the summer of 1971, he met the love of his life, Emma Residori, and they married in 1976. She survives him along with his 3 adoring children, Jeffrey, Ryan (Melissa), and Lisa Taylor; his sister-in­ law Jo Ann (Neil) Stellwagen; and brother-in-law John Residori; and his Bachmann, Manheim, and Taylor cousins.

Rande was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Vance and Betty (McCann) Taylor; his brother, Robert (Bob) Taylor; his grandparents, Louis and Henrietta McCann and Vance and Kathryn (Farley) Taylor; and his wife's parents, John and Johanna Residori.

Rande's greatest pleasures in life were attending all his children’s baseball and softball games and basking in the sun with "a cold one" either by his pool, in Las Vegas, or any place warm.

He graduated from Lewis University with degrees in Accounting and Finance. He was the Vice President of Finance/Controller at Joliet Electric Motors.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in New Lenox. Per Rande's request, cremation rites have been respectfully carried out.
