Pearl M. Schaefer (nee Grieger)
71, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Pearl was born in Chicago to the late Raymond and Theresa (Pallone) Grieger. Beloved wife of Robert Schaefer; loving mother of Scott (Kristin) Schaefer and Sherry (Rick) Orseno; cherished grandmother "Meme" of Heather and Jacob Orseno and Jeremy Schaefer; dear sister of Raymond Grieger, the late Ronny Grieger and the late Lori Bernard; fond aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Pearl was a retired nurse with Vitas Hospice and she also sold real estate. She enjoyed gardening, and belonged to a gardening club, painting, and re-finishing old furniture. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 3:00PM until time of Service at 6:00PM.
