PAUL A. DODGE

Age 88, of Lockport passed away Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet.

Paul is survived by his loving family, children, Kent (Rebekka) Dodge, Debra Cheek, Ross (Rebecca) Dodge, Mark (Jeanine) Dodge, Glen (Lynn) Dodge, siblings, Arlyce (Art) Behmetuik, Patricia (James) Richer, grandchildren, April (Dennis) Hansen, Jake (Meghann) Dodge, Kyle (Amber) Cheek, Dale (Megan) Cheek, Samantha (Jake) Schroeder, Andrea (Kevin) Kingsbury, Nicholas Dodge, Heather Dodge and 13 great grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln & Ruby Dodge (O'Connor), wife, Wanda Mae Dodge (Baker), siblings, William (Bette) Dodge, Barbara Dodge and son-in-law, Gary Cheek.

Paul was a Korean Navy Veteran and retired from Union Oil 76 after 38 years of service. He was a life member of V.F.W. #4788, Lockport Masonic Lodge #438, Three Pillar Chapter #280, St. Bridget Council #23, Knight Masons of USA, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1557, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Chicago and a member of the First Congregational Church since 1954.

A memorial service is planned for Thursday, October 6th, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Congregational Church of Lockport or the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
