Patricia Anne Weakley (Sinclair McAllister)

May 6, 1931 – September 9, 2024

Age 93, formerly of Mokena, and Tinley Park, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024 surrounded by family in Dacula, Georgia . She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Weakley (2018), parents Michael and Anne McAllister (Sinclair) and siblings John and Vera. She is the loving mother of Beverly (Fred (2023)) Krupa, Deborah Weakley, David (Cheryll) Weakley and Elizabeth (Scott) Beck; loving sister of Michael McAllister; cherished grandmother of Kimberly (Darrin) Snay, Kurt (Daphne) Krupa, Daniel Weakley, Rachel (Sean) Shumard, Kelly Martin, Ashley (Marc) Chillingsworth, Lauren (Julien) Alkhouri, and Patrick Sarsgard; great-grandmother of Rylee, Finley, Teagan, Tatum, Audrey, Brendan, and Emily; and loving aunt of Vincent Bower, Michael (Alice) Weakley, Tod (Linda) Weakley, and Tammy (Don) Jardine; and loving neighbor to Dan and Vickie, and Les and Vena. Mom and Dad could not have asked for better neighbors. Patricia and the family are especially grateful for the loving care she received from her caregivers Evelyn, Nickie, Darling and Claire who cared for Patricia while living in Mokena, Illinois and Cathy, Tutu, Catherine and Deb who cared for Patricia while living in Dacula, Georgia. Patricia was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland and immigrated to America in 1955 after her marriage to George who proposed to Patricia after 3 days, and they were happily married for 65 years. She was a loving mother, an avid reader making weekly visits to the New Lenox library, a dedicated Marshall Field’s shopper, enjoyed years of ceramics, took pleasure watching the hummingbirds in her backyard and made homemade jam for those she loved most. Patricia loved the warm sun upon her face and traveling the world with her husband George. Gigi will be reunited with Papa at Abe Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. It was Patricia’s wish that this world be a little kinder and requested in lieu of services that each person she touched, perform and act of kindness in her memory and read a book.
