Patricia Fares-O'Malley, Ph.D

Patricia Fares- O’Malley, Ph.D age 74, a resident of Wilmington, IL, formerly of Chicago Heights, IL, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 31, 2022, with her family by her side. Loving wife of James H. Kreske of Wilmington, IL; beloved mother of Christine (Lawrence) Martineau of Escondido, CA, John O’ Malley of Manhattan, IL, and Joshua (Angela) Kreske of Peotone, IL; cherished grandmother of Mia O’Malley, Josh O’Malley, Noah Martineau, Nico Martineau, Lily Kreske, Ian Kreske and Amelia Kreske; dearest sister of Michael (Mary Alice) Fares of San Diego, CA, David (Kathleen) Fares of Carlsbad, CA; Judy (Paul) Baty of Yuba City, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Pasquale Arthur Fares and Velma Antoinette (Granno) Fares. She attended Mt. Carmel Elementary School, Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights Illinois, and received her B.A from St. Xavier College. Patty received her master’s degree in Developmental and Counseling Psychology from Governors State University and a Doctorate in Philosophy in Health Sciences from Westbrook University. She was named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. She was subsequently awarded a scholarship to study Gerontology at the Ethel B. Andrus Center for Aging at the University of California in Los Angeles. Pat was a psychotherapist in private practice for 35 years and a Hypnotherapist for over 28 years. She lectured internationally and wrote two professional books and one novel. Her passion was working with mind/body issues through the power of hypnotherapy. When working with clients she employed the powerful experience of Regression therapy, the transformational healing of Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy, and the groundbreaking Quantum Consciousness Experience. A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
