Pamela L. Campagnolo (nee Ores)

Age 80 of New Lenox, passed away at home on Friday, December 29, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Pam was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late William and Josephine (nee Cauterucci) Ores. Beloved wife of Richard Campagnolo; loving mother of Ricco (Angela) Campagnolo and Nicole (James Bucci) Campagnolo; cherished grandmother of Isabella Campagnolo, Maxmillian Campagnolo, and Vicenza Bucci; dear sister of the late William Ores, JoAnn (Terrence) Reitz, Patti (William) Shaw, and Kathleen (late Frank) Brisk; sister-in-law of the late Victor (Dolores) Campagnolo and Michael Campagnolo; loved aunt, cousin, and friend.

Pam was loving, good natured, and generous beyond words, always putting others' needs before her own. When you needed advice or comfort, she had the right words to say in any circumstance, and was a lifeline to many. She was infamous for never forgetting anyone's birthday, even for the neighborhood kids. Joy for her was giving and making others happy. If only we could all be a little bit more like Pam. This world has truly lost an incredible soul yet heaven has gained an angel with colossal wings. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her, but remembered as an angel on earth.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 6, 2024, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am then to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
