Ottavio Farnese

Ottavio Farnese, age 89, a resident of Frankfort formerly of Chicago Heights and Italy, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Lightways Hospice House in Joliet. Loving husband of Grace Farnese; beloved father of Margie (Larry) Schletz and John (Sheryl) Farnese; dearest brother of Tom Farnese, Frank Farnese, Margherita Vitanza, Benina DiGiorgio and Rosaria Anello; cherished grandfather of Christian Schletz, Miranda Farnese and Melanie Farnese. He was preceded in death by his parents Giovanni and Margherita Farnese and a sister Rosaria Anello. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 4-8PM. Funeral service on Saturday, January 29, 2022 prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 AM leaving for St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Lightways Hospice, 250 Waterstone Circle Joliet IL 60431 would be appreciated.
