I am saddened to announce that my beautiful bride of 70 years, Norma "Jean" (Ward) Webster, peacefully passed away (04/26/23) and was welcomed by the Lord into her new home in heaven. Our hope is she is reunited with her father, John Ward, her mother, Lillian Ward, her sisters, Margaret Smith and Phyllis Podlesny, and great grandchild, Jocey Purpura.
As a young God loving woman, Jean aspired to become a nun. On September 15th, 1952, she gave up that hope and married me, Raymond Gordon Webster, and gave life to 5 wonderful children, Dave (Betty) Webster, Diane (Randy) Link, Mary Mistro, Paul (Lisa) Webster, and Janet (Carl) Minuth.
Through which followed ten grandchildren; Jayme, Stacey, Matthew, Andrew, Jason, Joshua, Sarah, Heather, Steven, and Jacob.
Of which 18 great grandchildren blessed us. Cael, Haley, Addison, Taylor, Riley, Brielle, Dylan, Delaney, Madeline, Fiona, Bennett, Hunter, Declan, Isla, Avery, Ila, Ava, and Corran.
Jean is survived by her brothers and sisters; John, Bob, Shirley, Lillian, Patricia, and Carol.
Jean was Loved by all who met her as she showed Love for all she met.
Jean graduated from Providence Catholic High School in 1950 in a class of 30 females, and worked as a secretary for Joliet Township High School, Uniroyal, and Lincoln-Way High School.
