NICHOLAS JOHN MULLINS

19 of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago.

Nicholas is survived by his loving family, aunt and uncle, Pamela (David) Panozzo, many close cousins, friends and beloved pet “Shadow”.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Mullins, grandparents, John & Rosemary Mullins and uncle Michael Mullins.

Nicholas was a graduate of Lake Central High School in St. John IN and a Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue University. He was a music lover and played the saxophone in the Jazz Band during high school and was recently learning how to play the guitar. Nicholas was a very kind and loving young man who handled his illness with grace and dignity.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, April 17th, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Saturday, April 18th, 2026 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund (childrenscancer.org) would be greatly appreciated.
