Nanette Tantillo

Nanette "Nan" Tantillo, age 63 of New Lenox, formerly of Flossmoor, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024.  She attended Infant Jesus of Prague church and was a graduate of Marian Catholic High School.  Nan worked as an insurance adjuster for Allstate and Montgomery Wards Insurance, as a cashier for Empress Casino and as a Customer Representative for Comcast.  She very much enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo and computer games, but most of all, she loved her kitty, Kyley.  Nan found Kyley, an adult cat looking to be adopted, on the PAWS website, and they soon became family. Nan now joins her sweet beloved Kyley in Heaven.

Into her adult years, Nan continued to possess the beautiful soul of a child: unpretentious, gentle and caring, always willing to do anything she could to bring happiness to others.  Her passing leaves a large void in the hearts of many.  

Nanette is preceded in death by her father, Dominic Tantillo.  She is survived by her mother, Joanne Tantillo, brothers Jim (Karen) Tantillo and Joe (Sue) Tantillo, and sister Cookie (Ken) Kamba, along with loving nephews Kenny, Jon and Joe, and nieces Margaret, Samantha and Mary, as well as their spouses and several great nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be held on  Wednesday, March 6, 2024 with a visitation at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Street in New Lenox, from 10am until the time of the funeral mass at 11am. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PAWS of Tinley Park and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
