Nancy Jane Lewis (nee Crain)
74, of Lockport, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, April 17, 2015. She was born in Freeport, IL to the late Robert and Lois (nee Greier) Crain. Beloved wife of the late Edwin L. Lewis; loving mother of Jeffrey Lewis, Scott (Julie) Lewis, Michael (Susan) Lewis and Douglas Lewis; cherished grandmother of Jeffrey, Eric, Alex, Andrew, Ryan, Emily, Evan, Laura, Grace, and Hannah; great grandmother of Nicole; dear sister of Linda (Tom) Hawbaker and Robert (Susan) Crain. Nancy bowled in the Morning Glories League at Orland Bowl on Tuesday mornings. She was a diehard Cub fan and loved spending time with her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 3-8PM. Funeral service Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL.
