Nancy E. Czarnecki 75, of Alsip was born in Portsmouth, VA to Ralph and Mildred Proffitt and passed away February 2, 2024. Beloved wife of James Czarnecki just shy of 54 years; loving mother of Paul Czarnecki, Mark (Karen) Czarnecki; proud Gramma of Matthew Czarnecki, Kaitlyn Czarnecki, Ryan Czarnecki, and Haley Czarnecki; dear sister of Ralph (Louise) Proffitt and David (Lorraine) Proffitt; fond aunt of many neices and nephews. Nancy worked for 20+ years in secretarial work before retiring, and enjoying her crafting. Nancy loved knitting, quilting, sewing, crocheting, just about anything to do with crafts, this was her passion. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Thursday February 8, 2024 from 9am until chapel prayers at 12pm. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery Arlington Heights IL.
